Italian Rice Cake

 Italian Rice Cake
1 litre milk
1 heaped cup rice (just usual white rice)
1 cup sugar
a little cube of butter
2 eggs
Cook rice for 10 minutes in the milk with 1/2 cup of the sugar. Turn stove off, add butter and let it cool. Separate eggs, and beat the egg whites until stiff. Add the egg yolks, whites and the rest of the sugar to the rice/milk mixture.
Pour into a greased cake tin. Bake at 180C for 30 minutes.
