Slow me down, Lord,

I'm running ahead.

Help me to follow

Behind Thee instead.

I'm forgetting to pray--
To cast my cares
On Thee each day.

I'm getting so stressed
Teach me to find
In Thee, Lord, my rest.

Slow me down, Lord,
Help me to see
The beauties of Creation
Surrounding me.

I'm going too fast.
Help me to focus
On things that will last.

Remind me to see
And enjoy all the gifts

That come from Thee.

I'm getting too busy.
Help me to always
Make time for Thee.
