Crispy Coated Chicken Strips


800g-1kg boneless chicken breasts or thighs
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp garlic salt
1 egg
1 tblsp water
1 cup cornflakes crushed
2 tsp paprika
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 tsp curry powder
1-2 tblsp. oil

Preheat oven to 200C. Cut chicken into thick strips.
 Put the flour and garlic salt into a plastic bag and shake to combine.
Whisk egg and water in a bowl.
Put Cornflakes in another plastic bag and crush (but not to powder). Add breadcrumbs, paprika and curry powder.
Coat chicken by first placing in the bag with flour, then into the bowl with the egg and finally into the bag with the cornflake and breadcrumb mixture.
Cook in oil for around 12-15 minutes until cooked.

This a really nice recipe, but not one I do too often as it takes a bit of preparation. But it's definitely worth it!
