What do you do when troubles and challenges in life are too big or too many?
Here are 6 principles based in Deuteronomy 7:17-26 (Read for full benefit).
1) Don't be afraid
The next few principles explain why we don't need to be afraid.
2)Remember what God has done in the past
In the Bible alone, there are many examples of the amazing things God has done. He helped many people face problems too big for them. And hopefully in your own life, there are situations you can look back on and remember how God helped you.
3)Remember who God is.
God is all powerful. He is limitless. There is nothing too hard for him. If He can create the whole world, how much more can He help us with our problems? Today is Easter Sunday. If Jesus could rise from the dead, what is too hard for Him?
4)Hold onto God's promises.
The Bible is filled with promises to help us and be with us. God promises to hear our prayers. He is faithful.
5)Trust God's wisdom.
God's thoughts are different than us. He knows what we really need. His timing and methods are often different than what we would choose. But He is all wise.
6)Obey His instructions.
We can't expect God to listen to us if we won't listen to Him. Most promises in the Bible have a condition attached. We need to obey even if we don't like the instructions.
