1 tsp baking soda
250g butter
1 cup flour
2 cups rolled oats
1 tsp salt
3 tblsp boiling water
2 tblsp golden syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup cocnut
2 tblsp milk powder
Dissolve baking soda in boiling water. Melt butter and golden syrup. Mix all together and pour into dry ingredients. Mix well and place in spoonfuls on a greased trays. Flatten slightly. Bake slowly at 150C for 15-20 minutes.
These are similar to anzac biscuits.
