I have recently been learning to handsew and have had lots of inexpensive fun trying new projects and making gifts! So I thought I would share the ideas on here over the next few weeks!
I used to throw tights with holes away. But this time I tried sewing on heart patches (made with scrap material from an old cot sheet) and was happy with the result! I sewed with cotton the same color as the tights and the stitching is backstitch.
My daughters were very happy with them. In fact, one of my girls wanted hearts on both knees!!
